Montana Vet Program ("MVP," "we," "us") respects your privacy. This policy explains what information we collect through 406mvp.org and how we use it.

Information We Collect

When you submit a form on this site, including our Press, Partner, Donation, or "I Am Interested" pages, we collect the information you provide, which may include your name, email address, phone number, city, state, branch of service, and any message or details you enter.

When you donate, your payment is processed by Zeffy, a third-party donation platform. We do not collect or store your payment card information. Zeffy handles that directly under its own privacy and security policies.

How We Use Your Information

We use the information you submit to respond to inquiries, process donations, communicate with partners and sponsors, and manage our relationship with supporters and volunteers through our internal CRM (Salesforce). We do not sell or rent your personal information to third parties.

Cookies and Site Analytics

This site is hosted on Squarespace, which may use cookies and collect basic analytics data (such as pages visited and general location) to operate and improve site functionality.

We also use Google Analytics to understand how people use this site, such as which pages are visited, how visitors move between pages, what kind of device they use, and their general location. Google Analytics uses cookies and similar technology for this. We use this information to improve the site. We do not use it to identify you personally, and we do not combine it with the information you give us in a form. We have turned off Google's optional data sharing settings. You can block Google Analytics by turning off cookies in your browser or by installing Google's opt-out add-on at https://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout.

The "Find your place in the mission" section at the bottom of some pages remembers which pages you have visited. It stores this in your own browser, on your own device. We cannot see it and it is not tied to your name. It also sends anonymous counts to Google Analytics, such as which sign was tapped, so we know which parts of the site help visitors. You can clear it at any time by clearing your browser's site data.

We do not run Facebook Pixel or other advertising trackers on this site.

We use the following third-party services to operate this site, protect our forms, and process donations:

  • Zeffy for donation processing

  • Squarespace for website hosting

  • Salesforce for donor and supporter relationship management

  • Google Analytics for site analytics

  • Google reCAPTCHA to block spam on our forms

  • Adobe Fonts for the fonts you see on the site

  • Candid for the transparency seal in our footer

Each of these services has its own privacy policy governing how they handle your data.

We take reasonable steps to protect the information you provide. However, no method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure.
